What it is

The Odyssey Coach is a coach for your social life. You talk things through out loud, like a call. The coach gets to know your whole story, builds you a plan, challenges you to do real things, and follows up to see how they went. It’s there to connect you with real people, not to replace them.

Why we built it

In 2023, the U.S. Surgeon General identified loneliness as an epidemic. Research shows that it affects young adults the most, and a lot of the products and tools that the tech industry offers make the problem worse. Good coaching can genuinely help, but a human coach costs around $100 to $200 an hour, which is not feasible for most people. We’re building coaching that meets people where they are: free for 30 days, then $12 a month.

Who’s behind it

Daniel Katz founded Nexus Labs after living this problem himself. He’s spent years building AI that helps people practice hard conversations. Nexus Labs is aimed at doing one thing: helping people build a real social life, with real people. Read the whole story.
